Beetroot is involved in a project for Amnesty International.
There will be an event presenting the tshirts designed by both beetroot and the students of AKTO art and design school. The event will take place in Hionidis fashion store in the center of thessaloniki next wednesday 24 of June 2009. You can purchase the tshirts from Hionidis store during next summer. Profits will be donated directly to Amnesty International.
You can check the t-shirt design we did for this project plus a magazine ad for Amnesry International created with some custom made “Potato” 3d typography.

On the 15th of last May Beetroot presented “the beetzoo” at the ED-Conference that took place in Zurich. “Beetzoo” was a journey through beetroot’s various animal illustration related projects. It was a great experience and honor presenting our work next to other great names such as Ian Anderson from the Designers Republic, G94, Alex Trochut and many more.The ED-Awards ceremony on the 17th of May had only good news for beetroot. 10 european design awards and a great party after the ceremony.
