The PhotoBiennale 2010/ 21st International Photography Meeting is organized by the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography. The Meeting includes exhibitions, activities, portfolio reviews, award shows, lectures, workshops, masterclasses, as well as events running parallel to the meeting. Last Saturday at the EBGE awards ceremony, Beetroot won the ultimate national distinction by receiving 5 awards and 9 merits for the work of 2009.  It’s actually the 3rd consecutive time that Beetroot wins the Grand EBGE award (2006, 2008, 2010) since as part of the judging committee couldn’t participate in the years 2007 and 2009.
